About the event

Rise Wellness and Liefeld and Associates present - A Day of Healing.  Our focus will be to provide a space for rejuvination for all those who give to the community, frontline workers, healthcare professionals, teachers, caregivers, and anyone who needs a day for themselves.  There will be workshops/events throughout the day including Sound Healing. Breath Work, Mindfulness, Yoga, Journaling, Reiki. Nutrition, and other topics and self-care modalities.

Kelvin Young - Sound Healer Kelvin Young utilizes the crystal and Himalayan singing bowls, gong, tuning forks, rattles, hand drum and other healing tools to activate the parasympathetic nervous system to calm your mind, relax your body and nourish your soul. The meditative sounds assist in relieving chronic/toxic stress, muscle tension, energetic blockages, addictive behaviors, PTSD, depression, anxiety, sleep disorders and other chronic stress-related health conditions

Lydia McClain - Certified Breath Coach. Breathwork is an active form of guided meditation that utilizes dynamic breath, essential oils, and music to release stuck energy in the body. This nourishing practice helps safely release emotions to physically and emotionally detox the body. This self-healing practice leaves you feeling lighter, relaxed, refreshed, and cleansed from the inside out. She offers a new free healing library of breathwork and all sorts of goodies to support and nourish the nervous system which she is pleased to offer to caregivers as a free digital resource for them during this time if possible.

Kristin Michalak of Grounded Soul Healing a holistic healer who believes in the power to heal our minds and bodies through Reiki, Yoga, therapy and life coaching. She has personally felt the incredible effects of these practices which helped transform my lifestyle to be more positive, productive and whole. After completing my training as a yoga teacher and reiki healer, I felt it was time to share these powerful tools with the world. My wish is to help as many people on their healing journey as possible.

Denise Zack is a Certified Life Coach, author, podcast host, Certified MBTI Practitioner, Registered Yoga Instructor, and owner of Denise Zack - Mindful Life Coaching. She has over 20 years of expertise in consultation, instruction and coaching in wellness, emotional intelligence and mindfulness. Her work focuses on enhancing the development of executive functioning life skills, self-empowerment, mindfulness, compassion, self-regulation and authenticity. She facilitates workshops, is an organizational and individual consultant, and helps clients engage in conversations around how they "show up" to life every day.

Join Kara Pachniuk from Nourish + Nosh Nutrition as she discusses how nourishing foods can be a way of nurturing from within.  Learn how to simplify meal planning and use cooking as a way to relax.  She will provide some basics for optimal wellness as well as helpful and realistic tips.

Amy Vales, LMFT - The Shameless Therapist. Our past selves can offer the reminder of who we were before shame and self-doubt entered into our story and our future selves carry the picture of who we are becoming as we return to the awareness of our goodness. In this session with Amy Vales come learn how you can, through mindfulness and journaling, receive from the wisdom of your past and future self.  

215 - 300 pm

Dr. Julie Liefeld has over 20 years working with a range of clinical concerns from suicidality to life coaching, living with learning differences/AD/HD, couples and family counseling, college counseling, and life transition counseling. Modalities and interventions used range from talk therapy to experiential interventions. She is also a certified yoga teacher and offers guided meditation or yoga to address anxiety, depression and general life development/wellness.  More information on Dr. Liefelds practice can be found here.  She'll be leading a Yoga Nidra session that will finish the days events.
